Humanity is no longer expected.

"It's the future, the machines won, and I don't lose." - Jake Jackson

The "Drone Wars" Legacy

Jake Jackson was 10 years old when the automation uprising claimed his family. What began as a mandatory AI upgrade for every device—from microwaves to transport networks—ended in the total displacement of humanity.

Now a "technological assassin" for the resistance, Jake infiltrates the high-security fuel core of the machine network. His objective: plant the detonators and escape before the industrial automation resets the world.

Solo Dev Philosophy

A project by @scott_grocott

Metal Throne is built on a "Web-First to Native" pipeline. The goal is to develop the full logic and asset library within web-based engines (A-Frame, Three.js, Babylon.js) before a final compilation into Godot.

Level Progression

LEVEL 01
The Outskirts

Tutorial pacing. Avoid Red Patrol Bots to recover detonator #1.

LEVEL 02
Maintenance Depot

Verticality focus. Outmaneuver Green Bots with sound distractions.

LEVEL 03
Drone Airfield

High tension. Sprint between cover windows to evade Blue Drones.

LEVEL 04
The Fuel Core

Combat finale. Plant all charges and survive the escape timer.

AI Production Hub

The project utilizes BuggyWhip v0.1.2: a custom AI agent orchestration system. By routing tasks between local LLMs (Llama-3/Mistral) and cloud-based models, development maintains total privacy without sacrificing architectural depth.
